The best cocktails for your office party

With the festive season just around the corner, office managers and HR departments all over the country are frantically planning their seasonal office party. Planning a party that’s actually held at your office, is no mean feat. In order to make this a night to remember there will need to be careful planning to provide suitable entertainment, food, and of course drinks.

Beer and wine are staples for any good party, but why not add a couple of simple cocktails to your drinks menu to make the night really special! Making these doesn’t need to be difficult, there are a number of delicious cocktails that can be made in any kitchen that will impress your colleagues and add a touch of class to your evening.

To help choose the right drinks for your office party, we’ve put together our favourite Christmas cocktails. All of these drinks can be made in any typical office kitchen, and the ingredients can be found in your local supermarket.

White Russian

What you’ll need (per drink):

  • 50 ml vodka
  • 20 ml coffee liqueur
  • 30 ml fresh cream

Add the coffee liqueur and vodka to a glass with ice then add the fresh cream and stir gently.

Vodka and Cranberry Flush

What you’ll need (to make 12 drinks):

  • 200 ml vodka
  • 600 ml cranberry juice
  • 200 ml Cointreau
  • 400 ml orange juice
  • Lime peel strips
  • Crushed ice

Add the vodka and Cointreau to a jug and mix well then pour in the orange and cranberry juice. Fill 12 glasses with crushed ice and pour the drink onto the ice with the lime peel. If you don’t have time to peel the lime then just used chopped lime instead.

Majestic Sunset (non-alcoholic)

What’ll you’ll need (per drink):

  • 30 ml orange juice
  • 30 ml cranberry juice
  • 70 ml fizzy water
  • Ice

Simply mix the juices then add the fizzy water and serve with ice.

Irish Coffee

  • What you’ll need (per drink):
  • One cup of strong black coffee
  • One tsp sugar
  • 50 ml whisky
  • One small carton of double cream

Fill a wine glass halfway with coffee, then add the sugar, stir well and then add the whisky. Slowly pour the cream so that it floats on top of liquid.
